ERD is one of many organizations working toward achieving the Millennium Development Goals.  You can learn more about the MDGs, and how our partners are working to achieve these goals, by exploring the resources below.

  • The ONE Campaign
According to their Web site, ”ONE aims to help Americans raise their voice as ONE against the emergency of AIDS and extreme poverty, so that decision makers will do more to save millions of lives in the poorest countries.”  ERD is a member of the ONE Campaign.

  • Episcopal Public Policy Network
EPPN describes itself as ”…a nationwide grassroots network of Episcopalians who call and write their members of Congress and the Administration to advocate positions of the Church.”

  • Episcopalians for Global Reconciliation
This organization advocates grassroots change within the Episcopal Church and greater society.  Its goals include working toward meeting the MDGs.

  • InterAction
InterAction is "the largest alliance of US-based international development and humanitarian non-government organizations. With more than 160 members [including ERD] operating in every developing country, InterAction works to overcome poverty, exclusion and suffering by advancing social justice and basic dignity for all."

How ERD is making a difference...

Countries
We lift communities out of poverty around the world in areas such as Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and Asia. We partner with local organizations in the Anglican Communion to ensure vulnerable people have healthy food to eat and get proper health care.

Domestic
We provide critical supplies to people through local dioceses after natural and human-made disasters. We partner with the dioceses to get life-saving aid to children and their families and stay with communities after the crisis to provide ongoing support.
