[Episcopal Relief and Development] Episcopal Relief and Development’s partner in Louisiana is the Diocese of Louisiana and the diocese’s Office of Disaster Response (ODR). ERD and ODR have identified partners like Hope Community Credit Union and Grace Community Services as affinity networks for long-term interventions with racially and economically marginalized populations. The partnership is also working with Mobile Fishes and Loaves to provide mobile services and supplies to returning residents and clean up workers in New Orleans communities.

ERD and the diocese are working in partnership on an affordable housing initiative. The program will build up to 800 homes for low-income residents.

ERD and the diocese are also working in coordination with the Louisiana Voluntary Agencies Active in Disasters (VOAD) to access certain warehousing services. Please visit the Diocese of Louisiana’s website at http://www.edola.org/index.php.
