ERD is working with the Diocese of Louisiana to establish the Office of Disaster Response (ODR) after Hurricane Katrina. ERD is helping ODR coordinate local parishes in responding to the unique needs of the rural and urban communities that have been affected by the disaster.

ODR is also organizing long-term recovery efforts in the diocese in the areas of livelihood and housing recovery, health and psychosocial care, case management and distribution and other services. Please visit ODR’s Web site at www.edola.org/odr_main.php for more information.
