Flo McAfee (Washington)
Ms . Flo McAfee manages a strategic communications firm that specializes in multicultural media relations. Prior to that, she was Senior Vice President of The Caraway Group, Inc., where she established the company’s public relations division and managed several high profile accounts. In 1993, Ms. McAfee accepted an appointment as Special Assistant to President Clinton in the White House Office of Public Liaison, responsible for community outreach and relations with the faith community.
Ms. McAfee has extensive experience in public relations and cause-related marketing. She has also produced several educational videos and worked as the production advisor and marketing coordinator for the PBS documentary, “Tutu and Franklin: A Journey Towards Peace.”
Ms. McAfee is a board member of the Los Angeles-based InsideOUT Writers, a non-profit organization providing writing programs to at-risk youth. She lives in Alexandria, Virginia.
