Use Your IRA to Make Tax Free Gifts

Congress has extended the IRA Rollover Law. You can now use your IRA to make charitable gifts in 2008 and 2009.

If you are over age 70½, you can rollover up to $100,000 each year from your IRA to Episcopal Relief & Development. These gifts can be made tax-free and will help balance your IRA value with other estate assets.

Depending upon your income level, there may be additional income tax benefits.
