We’d be happy to make arrangements for someone from the Episcopal Relief & Development staff, Network or Speaker’s Guild to visit your parish to preach, teach or make a presentation.
To request a speaker, please download and fill out the Speaker Request Form and return it to the Church Engagement office at churchengagement@er-d.org. For more information, please e-mail churchengagement@er-d.org.
When you request a speaker, please have specific dates in mind that work for your group or parish. Our Speaker’s Guild is small, but we’ll do our best to meet the needs of your congregation or event.
Once a speaker is secured, we’ll put you in direct contact with the speaker. Please remember these are volunteers and your help with any necessary local transportation, meals or accommodation is greatly appreciated. A special offering or gift to Episcopal Relief & Development is also appropriate.
We also ask that you publicize the event in your parish or local newsletters and through word of mouth. A short biography of the speaker will be provided, as well as any additional information about Episcopal Relief & Development you may need.
