RSSMatching Gift Countdown: 14 Days To Go!
There are just 14 days left to double your gift’s impact through Episcopal Relief & Development’s Matching Gifts Challenge!
Thanks to a group of extraordinarily generous donors, Episcopal Relief & Development is matching all gifts received by November 30, up to $500,000. The response so far has been stellar – the Global Needs fund alone has brought in an amazing $421,752 since the challenge launched on October 19.
“I think the opportunity for people to see their gifts matched dollar-for-dollar is a huge incentive to give, because everyone likes to get more for their money,” said Judy Sawler, Episcopal Relief & Development’s Manager for Direct Response Marketing. “Donating to Episcopal Relief & Development before November 30 does this twice over. Not only does the amount of the gift get doubled, but people also know that the largest part of their gift goes directly toward funding local initiatives run by trusted partners.”
During the Matching Gift Challenge, any size gift to any fund will be matched dollar-for-dollar, as long as matching funds are available. Donors can contribute to Global Needs, Disaster Response, Malaria/NetsforLife® or any other fund – even Gifts for Life purchases will be matched. The matching amounts will be designated for the Global Needs fund, which supports Episcopal Relief & Development’s partnerships to fight poverty and disease worldwide.
