RSSCatherine George (New Jersey)
Dr. Catherine "Katy" George is a Director in McKinsey & Company’s New Jersey Office. Dr. George serves Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices clients on a range of strategic issues, including corporate strategy, commercial effectiveness, supply chain design and post-merger management. She is a co-leader of McKinsey’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Products Operations practice.
Prior to joining McKinsey, Dr. George was employed by National Economic Research Associates. In addition, Dr. George has been involved in several non-profit initiatives including the design of a balanced scorecard for the Abbott districts for the New Jersey Department of Education and development of a new mission statement and strategy for the American Diabetes Association (in process).
Dr. George holds a BA in economics and government from Oberlin College and a PhD in business economics from Harvard University. She is a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in New Providence, NJ.
